Never had a problem with this hospital we are lucky to have such a super hospital on our doorstep. Not a problem getting an appointment from various departments and consultants always helpful. Hope not to use it too much in future.

Wonderful staff!

I have nothing but praise for the staff and hospital facilities at UHCW. The parking facilities are another thing entirely. I take 30mins to get to the hospital, and then 45 mins to park. It's ridiculous. The security don't help and are rude. I don't think the car parks are owned by the hospital either, so who ever does, is making a mint at the expense of people trying to see loved ones or having medical attention. Even the ambulances have to queue sometimes. I went in yesterday, and I'm back there today - not looking forward to it at all!!!

Can't fault the medical staff or cleaners but the parking is insufficient extremely expensive. Eye wateringly experience and because there is only one entrance for all verchiles cars buses taxis ambulances if you have a 9 am appointment you need to give yourself an extra 40 minutes _an hour to get from the roundabout onto Ansty Road to the entrance. Also long delays when the helicopter takes off or lands. It can add a fiver to your taxi fare

We visited yesterday after my son cut his head. We were in, glued and out within an hour. The nurse we saw was lovely, really appreciate the NHS after this trip!

Good to come here out of hours of your doctors, but very busy, and full of Europeans and other foreigners

The new NHS website below is very well worth a look. Hospitals are not only listed but evaluated. I certainly know which ones I would go to! At the very least you will know what questions to ask if you are sent to one which has not entered its data. Good luck!
