Dental Surgeries

The Coventry & Warwickshire Centre For Advanced Dentistry

106 Marlborough Rd, Coventry CV2 4ER, UK – 024 7645 4350

I have been coming here for over two years now and this is down to both the friendly nature of the staff and the high quality of treatments. When I first came here I had quite a lot of work done to my teeth and they still look really good. High class practice in my view.

I got a free invisalign consultation here and i'm using the treatment now, very, very happy with it! Seems to be working a treat so far but the best part of it was the care i received, the dentist was so attentive and helpful. Really pleased and definitely worth the money.

Light Lane Dental Practice

1 Light Ln, Coventry CV1 4BQ, UK – 024 7622 8108

EXTREMELY ANXIOUS - as soon as i came in to make an appointment (which took 3 yrs) i was made to feel completely at ease.Appointment was booked for the following day and was greeted by name and again put at ease. The dental nurse introduced herself and was lovely. The dentist also introduced herself and talked me through each step and option. i was not made to feel 'naughty' for my fear and she took the time to listen to what my anxiety was and how it had come about. I've been made to feel so at ease that i'm returning tomorrow for further treatments and all options and possible outcomes were discussed thoroughly. Today has been far less fearful and have discussed a pro active way with the dentist to attempt to eradicate future anxiety at visiting you here. oddly- a pleasant experience. Thank you all.

Friendly and courteous staff. My dentist always makes me feel relaxed. A stress free experience.

I have always found the staff very helpful. The NHS is close to bursting point and under pressure. The GP's and nurses all work very hard and I AV nothing but respect for all of them. I suffered the loss of my mum recently and although appointments are 10 minutes each..... They found the time to comfort me. I'm sorry I may have been a patient that put your appointment time behind but shows that I am a person ... Not just a number. Thank you to all staff.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

9 North St, Coventry CV2 3FP, UK – 0330 220 0404

Recently had a move from Coventry to London and the experience couldn't have gone any smoother. Very quick reply and quote, staff we're very helpful and easy to talk to. On the day they arrived on time and the packing was done quickly and efficiently. For what is usually a stressful time the staff seemed to try their best to make the whole process as easy as possible. It was worth every penny and I would easily recommended to others.

We were doing a house move for a customer and our van broke down, these guys helped us out and completed the job, Much appreciated... Thanks for helping me out

The Coventry & Solihull Waste Disposal Company Ltd

Bar Rd, Coventry CV3 4AN, UK – 024 7650 7400

Could be better signposted, but once you get in all the instructions are very easy to understand and follow, all areas are nicely marked

It's great for getting rid of bulk waste all in one place and the staff are always helpful.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Coventry

Sultan Restaurant

94-95 Far Gosford St, Coventry CV1 5EA, UK – 024 7655 5353

Great food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and welcoming immediately upon entering the door. As it was only a short walk from the City Centre it was certainly worth it. The menu is excellent and won't disappoint. Only surprise was the complete lack of desserts. They don't serve alcohol but this isn't a problem as they allow you to supply your own which can be purchased at stores just down the road should you desire. With the open plan kitchen adding to the atmosphere I can heartily recommend dining here and will certainly be going back myself.

This is a delightful, down to earth restaurant, easily accessible by wheelchair. The menu has something for everyone and the food tastes really fresh and flavoursome. It's also very handy for Fargo Village where you'll find a pub with craft beers, a bubble tea shop and all kind of wonderful shops selling things from yoga wear to handmade chocolate to vegan food, vintage clothes and even a barber!

Antalya Restaurant

124 Walsgrave Rd, Coventry CV2 4AX, UK – 024 7627 8488

I'm there twice a week it's that good. Friendly staff authentically cooked traditional Turkish cuisine. Oh and free Turkish tea 😋 A winner every time.

I'm grateful that this gem of a restaurant is on my doorstep. It's excellent. A warm atmosphere, very friendly and helpful serving staff, excellent food perfectly grilled and charred without an ash taste, and great Turkish tea. The decor is inviting and speed of service very good too. The fresh bread-making in the front window was a pleasant surprise and enjoyable to watch. Now I think about it, it was an almost faultless experience. Will definitely be back.

Lovely place

The Play House Nursery

192 Fenside Ave, Coventry CV3 5NJ, UK – 024 7641 7126

A brilliant nursery. Both of my children used to go here. It may look small but please don't be put off by that. The staff are brilliant they pack A lot of stuff into the children's day. The nursery and staff are very organised. The nursery is always spotless it is very clean. I do believe that they have a 5 star hygiene rating. The staff do go out if their way to improve the nursery ,and find new and exciting enrichment opportunities for the children to explore and learn. The nursery welcomes children with additional needs, and again the staff go out of their way to make sure these children have the right support at nursery, and that the child is fully included. Both of my children went to this nursery they still talk about their time there now. They are 10 & 8 years old. Which to me says that they remember the play house fondley . I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for somewhere to after your little one.

Fantastic nursery staff who made our son feel welcome and looked forward-in coming to nursery! Friendly, safe & convenient all the aspects we looked for in a good nursery. Would recommend.

Blue Coat, Church of England

Terry Rd, Coventry CV1 2BA, UK – 024 7622 3542

The Beginning 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. 6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day. 9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. 11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day. 14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day. 20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. 24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27  So God created mankind in his own image,     in the image of God he created them;     male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” 29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

i think that the school is tres bien could do with a slight bit of renovation but still the education standards are great and the teachers show great dedication and commitment towards their jobs.
